Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Uros Floating Islands → Luquina Community
06:45 h: Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the port of Puno.
07:15 h: Departure by motorboat to the Uros Floating Islands (25 minutes). Visit two inhabited islands where locals maintain their ancestral way of life.
08:30 h: Continue sailing south toward the Chucuito peninsula, home to the communities of Karina and Luquina.
Upon arrival, local families welcome us and guide us to their homes.
In the afternoon, you can choose from the following activities:
- Walks or bike rides along the lakeshore
- Artisanal fishing or kayaking on the lake
- Relax and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Titicaca
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at a local family home.
Day 2 – Luquina → Taquile Island → Return to Puno
Breakfast with your host family.
Boat ride to the mystical Island of Taquile (1 hour).
1.5-hour walk to the main square of Taquile, with stunning views of the lake.
Free time to explore local weaving shops and learn about their UNESCO-recognized textile tradition.
Lunch with a local family, featuring traditional dishes.
Descent to the port and return to Puno by boat.
15:30 h approx.: Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel.
