Detailed Itinerary
🕐 05:00 h – Pick-up from your hotel in Nazca
Our guide will pick you up before sunrise — the best time to avoid the intense desert heat.
🚐 05:30 h – Transfer to starting point (Km 28)
After a 30-minute drive, we arrive at “Km 28,” located at the foot of the Andes. Here begins the hike to the dune.
🥾 06:00 h – Start of the hike to Cerro Blanco’s summit
We ascend natural and sandy trails during a 3-hour hike. Along the way, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the desert, rock formations, and the vast Nazca Valley.
⛰️ 09:00 h – Arrival at Cerro Blanco summit (2,078 m.a.s.l.)
After a short rest, your instructor will provide a technical briefing on how to use the board, safety guidelines, and basic sandboarding techniques.
🏂 09:30 h – Practice session and descent
Slide down the dunes seated, lying down, or standing (for advanced riders). The main descent is over 800 meters — pure adrenaline!
🚶♂️ 10:30 h – Hike to the pick-up point
After the descent, we walk about 30 minutes through the desert to the location where our transport awaits.
🚐 12:00 h – Return to Nazca
We head back to the city and drop you off at your hotel. End of services.
