Detailed Itinerary
09:00 a.m. – Hotel Pick-up
We begin the tour with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We then head to the first tourist attractions of the day.
09:30 a.m. – Sacsayhuamán Fortress
We visit the impressive Sacsayhuamán fortress, famous for its enormous walls formed by huge stones up to 9 meters long and 5 meters wide. These stones are arranged in a zigzag pattern across three platforms, spanning 360 meters in length. This site showcases incredible Incan engineering.
10:30 a.m. – Tambomachay
Known as the «Inca baths,» Tambomachay features a series of steps and crystal-clear water fountains. It is believed that this was a site dedicated to the worship of water, vital to the Incas. Here we will enjoy a moment of tranquility in this beautiful and spiritual place.
11:00 a.m. – PucaPucara Fortress
The PucaPucara fortress is an archaeological complex that includes terraces, staircases, underground passages, towers, niches, and platforms. It was an important surveillance and control point on the Incan roads.
11:30 a.m. – Qenqo Amphitheater
Qenqo is an ancient Incan worship site, built in stone, with passages, channels, and carved staircases representing the sacred puma. This site has a deep ceremonial significance for the Incan culture.
12:30 p.m. – Return to Cusco
We finish the tour and return to Cusco in a comfortable private bus, enjoying the landscape.
