We&#8217;ll travel to Kilometer 104, the starting point of the Short Inca Trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hike begins with a visit to the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2,200 m.a.s.l.), then a 3 to 4-hour ascent to Wi\u00f1aywayna (2,650 m.a.s.l.), a spectacular Inca agricultural and ceremonial complex. From there, we continue to Inti Punku, where we\u2019ll enjoy our first panoramic view of Machu Picchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We then descend to Aguas Calientes and stay in a comfortable tourist hostel. Dinner is included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 2: Aguas Calientes \u2013 Machu Picchu \u2013 Cusco<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After breakfast, we take the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Our guide will give a complete tour (approx. 2.5 hours), visiting the Main Square, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Condor, the Temple of the Three Windows, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll then have free time to explore on your own or climb Huayna Picchu (subject to availability).
